Do moths get any more beautiful than this. It's only about 5mm long and is just a brown blob when seen from just a few inches away. It's the first time we've recorded it in our garden - Dyseriocrania subpurpurella aka Common Spring Jewel.

I saw my first Large Red Damselflies of the year on Sunday in beautiful weather RSPB Pulborough Brooks

10:7 last night. Again, it was ruined by the very windy conditions that weren't supposed to materialise until this morning.
Only nfy was this rather lovely Swallow prominent.
Another earlier than expected moth.

Well I wasn't expecting Pinion-spotted Pug NFG to light in the North Hampshire garden last night. Resting half way up the side of the house, from a distance I assumed this was yet another Brindled Pug, but once I was up the step ladder it was much more interesting! #MothsMatter
