Do moths get any more beautiful than this. It's only about 5mm long and is just a brown blob when seen from just a few inches away. It's the first time we've recorded it in our garden - Dyseriocrania subpurpurella aka Common Spring Jewel.

Well I wasn't expecting Pinion-spotted Pug NFG to light in the North Hampshire garden last night. Resting half way up the side of the house, from a distance I assumed this was yet another Brindled Pug, but once I was up the step ladder it was much more interesting! #MothsMatter
