There is not one molecule of worldly ideology that we need to unify Christ’s church. I have burnt the ships in my harbor; I am ready to bleed for this biblical truth. No idea, ideology, system, or philosophy can unite God’s people. But the gospel can—and the gospel does.

When you consider that double masks and face shields have become part of some people’s identity, signals of their virtue, and outward expressions of their faith in “science,” it’s easy to see why they don’t want to give it up. Inside, they are hollow. This is all they have.
