But we need a related type, too: the sherpas. The men with high relational skill, steady temperaments, good listeners, gracious confronters, bridge-builders, wise counselors.

We are at war with Marxism.

Make no mistake: there has been no formal declaration of war. This is largely a silent and informal invasion. Yet Marxism has infiltrated every sector of American life: culture, the academy, entertainment, the arts, business, politics, and the church.

Do men's conferences need sword-swallowing, tanks, bellowing preachers, and worldly excitement to reach men?

Nah. To reach men, we need the Word, the gospel, and a whole lot of joy in Christ.

We often say as Christians, “God won’t give you more than you can handle.” We mean well, no doubt, but here’s the cold truth: God will *often* give us more than we can handle.

But then he will give us all the grace we need to glorify him.

Pastor, you have two choices regarding politics:

You can disciple your people to think biblically about politics

or

You can let the media, podcast hosts (gulp), and conspiracy theorists disciple them.
