CFB is the only remaining American sport that places a high value on the reg season. Every other sport has expanded playoffs, not to improve the quality of sport, but to make more money. American sports is driven by sports betting. That's the target audience. Not real fans.

FINALLY SOMEONE ARTICULATES THE PROBLEM. Texas, OSU, LSU, Miami, Michigan, etc. have to be willing to work with smaller budgeted programs to have great collegiate sports. It's the only way it will work.

Our pastor has often mentioned how 'travel ball' -- and parental decisions -- has wrecked a generation of youth rarely introduced to the importance of deliberate worship & being present on Sunday AM. Love this from Danny.

You know what NO ONE is saying if they're objectively watching college basketball each and every night? "Let's expand the NCAA Tournament."

All major leagues & CFB should look at the WBC for inspiration on how to run a sport. Get big money ppl out. Give sports back to the common ppl. Sports, controlled by big money/politics, reveals cultural rot. Sports, when given to the ppl, is great for our collective humanity.

Also hate that I've missed the WBC bc my antenna broke and I'm not paying separate subscriptions for ESPN and Fox. The traditional carriers are overpriced.

I'm just not sure what the future of college sports will be. If the Big 10 and SEC breakoff, there's a ton of potential and investment in smaller market schools. I'm not sure the P2 will be that fun to watch compared to the smaller market that emerges in the years to come.

Let's go. Modern sports media and players need to see this. It's not all about money. When it is, the thing (sports) we love dies a slow death.

Me & my wife fall into good things. We've just always liked being together. We are better together. We don't like jobs that keep us away from each other all day. Yes, there are times we are, but it's not the norm. We like our family unit to be together. And we are richly blessed.

Affordable childcare = you get what you pay for. I see signs that say, "work doesn't work w/o affordable childcare." There's always a way. Get creative. "Find a way or make one" mindset is key. You don't have to be rich either. My wife and I make less $ to have our kids at home.

Donating to college athletics WAS a noble cause. You helped young people get an education and support your Alma mater. We Got to watch them as the matured academically and athletically and with some luck maybe your program won some and/or you got to see a program great that

History is full of great businesses crumbling bc they failed to see the future. A pro sport made up of 18–22-year-olds will NOT track the way college sports have.

Saying College Basketball is healthy because of high TV ratings is like saying junk food is healthy because it outsells broccoli.

Watching The Masters very limited advertising, tiny number of elite sponsors, wondering if/why not the NFL/NBA/MLB do the same thing. Far less commercials with far fewer sponsors/advertisers paying huge premiums for that right. Money could be same/better, viewers would love it.

There's a cohort of American males that believe with 1-2 years dedicated practice they could win the Masters. As a marketer, it's important to understand that you can sell these people anything.

In 2015, America "redefined" marriage. "Gay marriage" became law. This created a demand for buyable children. But all this rejects God's good design. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman. Children are not for sale. We must overturn Obergefell and ban surrogacy.

I was a captain at Mizzou and now I can hardly watch the games. College sports used to build men. The portal is building mercenaries that are completely disconnected from the universities they "represent". It's antithetical to what college sports have always been and what they
