This is Sen. Karen Berg, pouring out her heart for Henry, her trans son, and the humanity of all people. Today, we learned the crushing news that her son passed by suicide. I’m asking you to please take a moment to watch this, and share it in their honor. Rest in love, Henry.

As the #demandaseat program kicks off tonight, I’m so excited to be a part of the Spring 2023 Cohort! I’m ready to learn about supporting gun sense candidates (or maybe thinking about a future run 🤔) and to hear from the Moms Demand Action volunteers who ran & WON! Thanks Everytown!

#OnThisDay in 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, guaranteeing women the right to vote. But did you know Colorado women could already vote? That’s right! In 1893, Colorado became the first state to enact women’s suffrage by popular referendum. How about that? 🤠

This is why TABOR is bad for Colorado. It severely limits local communities from enacting tax policy that works for them. It also severely limits our state from making the best decisions to fund our services based on need and not on decades old draconian anti-community policy.
