Caved and bought an ugly ass pair of clogs for work. My feet have never felt better. But they def make me look like a dweeb 😭

Listen if my pt is getting discharged, and they are on an $$ med, have an ostomy, need dressing supplies, etc… you best believe I’m sending them home with whatever is leftover + ordering up extra

One time I asked a coworker if they could help with an IV and they said “sure, if you pluck my chin hair”. I laughed awkwardly but they literally pulled me in the bathroom and gave me a pair of tweezers…they didn’t even get the IV either 😭

Trying to reassure and comfort a concerned family member, while you know their loved one is about to be told they have terminal cancer…. emotional acrobatics that I’ll never get used to.
