I have to confess that I had never *really* understood how a government with a huge majority in Parliament could simply implode while in power, to the extent that it became simply incapable of remaining in office. The period from 1903 to 1905 is making a lot more sense now.

Tesco playlist on fire today. In there 3 mins & heard the lyrics “living in a world of fools, breaking us down” & “if you ever change your mind about leaving us”. Do they have a special one for when we need a #GeneralElectionNow ?

flatmate has just asked me whether i think the lettuce voted leaf or romaine in the brexit referendum and im frankly furious at how funny i found it

Since Twitter will soon die and all record will be gone, how about a few MPs using it to admit Brexit was a terrible idea? Just a thought. What harm could it do at this point?!

As the Winchcombe #meteorite has been popular again recently i thought i would share this beaut CT scan from the sample i had for EDS mapping and mineral comps. Deep learning image enhancement really lets you see the complex interior of the breccia #tomographyTuesday #ZeissNatRes

*Now* she wants to keep an eye on corruption???? These people are so beyond belief that if it were a novel plot line an editor would say the characters were not creditable. The hypocrisy is incredible.

A clear, easy to understand & enlightening listen Ian Dunt⁩ passion for better politics is backed up by knowledge and clarity. Case studies moved me to tears; there must be a more compassionate system. I am a little sad there are no Humphreys after all! audible.co.uk/pd/B0BK97GW4N?…

Enjoyed all recent The Rest Is Politics interviews with current shadow cabinet members but feel frustrated Rory Stewart seems dissatisfied with both idealism & realism. One is naive & the other not ambitious enough. Which is preferable?

Election tomorrow. FIND YOUR PHOTO ID. PUT IT IN YOUR POCKET OR BAG. The address DOESN'T need to match your constituency or current address. This is just to prove your ID. Passport, driving license, PASS card or Voter Certificate, or this stuff: electoralcommission.org.uk/voting-and-ele…

Until recently, I never understood politics enough to have more than a passing interest, though I have always voted. Thanks to Ian Dunt ALASTAIR CAMPBELL Rory Stewart & James O'Brien for the podcasts that have changed my understanding & undoubtedly contributed to changing our govt.
