ℹ️ Statement by the Presidency on the planned endorsement of the final compromise text on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive ( #CSDDD ) ⤵️

Just wow. France proposes to reduce the number of companies caught in the scope of the Due Diligence Directive by increasing the employee threshold from 500 employees to 5000.

This removes 80% of companies from the scope of #CSDDD

The legal dust before the CIJ_ICJ has settled, at least until the Court comes back to deliver its decision on the provisional measures #SouthAfrica has requested in the genocide case against #Israel .

That won't be for a few weeks.
