If you want to give to an org, just give them $. Don't do it this way.

The Statistics Canada 2-yr Covid impact update points out that the pandemic impacts public safety & social cohesion in part due to growing income inequality. But also, Covid infections are linked to increased aggression.

Let’s take a moment to sit in the uncomfortable feelings and be real:
- participating in current systems of power requires sacrificing safety
- taking actions based on what we know scientifically requires sacrificing participation in society

It's too bad there hasn't been any support for those who are infected & reinfected by Covid at work. Nurses, LTC workers & teachers experience very high infection rates, but the Nova Scotia Gov. hasn't made any changes to workplace safety. Many have left their professions.
