Had an interesting morning with Dwyka Mining Services where they showed off Spot the robot dog. Dwyka is the official reseller of the robotic dog in South Africa.

Dwyka is marketing the dog's capabilities to a variety of industries, including mining. The robot is seen as an ideal solution for entering no-go zones or hazardous areas, proving more reliable in tight spaces than aerial drones.

Spot met a fellow canine on the walk to the CTICC. They are both very good doggos.

Spot attracted quite the crowd at the CTICC, where the Mining Indaba is currently taking place. It even took part in a pushup competition
