Very proud to share that I was awarded a Doctoral CIHR award (CGS-D) for a 3-year term. Transparently, this was my 2nd time applying and I remember being pretty crushed with last years rejection. Used the feedback and resubmitted my proposal. Not over till it’s over!

Teaching undergrads clinical psychology while doing a PhD in my 20s has been a rewarding surprise. Turns out examples about doomscrolling, situationships, & groupchats land. So do ones about housing crises, climate anxiety, inflation, & political unrest. The kids are alright.
