Sometimes the 'wins' in Suicide Prevention stay private, because these are lives we are saving and people have a right to recover privately. There are 1000's on people here today ,directly because of me . Some won't remember my name ,they remember I gave them a reason to live.

Where did it come from, the idea MH staff shouldn’t intervene when a suicidal person is thought to have capacity? •Misunderstanding of MH Act •Culture of downgrading risk in a service under pressure •Stigma directed at people with PD diagnosis Dangerous & unacceptable.

When a partner agency says MH patients stop them doing their real job, there’s a long way to go on #stigma: •people in apparent MH crisis may need services to address the cause •MH probs are never a reason to exclude •collaboration is key.
