Funny to me when people list #playwrights known for their distinctive/heightened/rich language they consistently say male writers like Mamet, Sorkin, Shepard, Durang, whereas I instantly think Ntozake Shange, Naomi Iizuka, Caridad Svich, Suzan-Lori Parks, @_Jen_Silverman, Ruhl, Fornés
