Tonight, 27 GoodGym #Cardiff runners battled the cold & hail to help the Samye Foundation & litter pick the streets🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️❄At Samye they put tarpaulin onto a shed, hoovered, swept & weeded🙌The litter pickers collected 5+ bags of litter💪Whatever the weather, we can run together💕

Tonight, 22 GoodGym walkers/runners helped the Samye Foundation🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ They tidied the antic, painted skirting boards, planted strawberry plants, repaired a wall & weeded💕 Making a positive difference in the world🌏 Proud finalists in the civic category at the #CardiffLifeAwards 🤞

Tonight, 24 #GoodGym walkers/runners helped SustransCymru at Grangemoor Park🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️We cut back bushes & moved the cuttings. We also picked up litter & swept paths 👏🙌 Sustrans' vision is a society where the way we travel creates healthier places & happier lives for everyone 🚴‍♂️👣

This evening our GoodGym runners didn't run in a group🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🚫 🙂 Instead they implemented self care strategies. Nathan read a book 📚 Megan made lentil curry 🍛 Ben relaxed listening to music 🎼🧘‍♂️ & Lucy had a bath🛀 #Selfcare is so important for mental health during these times🥰

Tonight 16 goodgymers got together at Roath Recreational Ground to run / walk 5km to StarGarAllot Community Gardens. We dug up old plants, created edging for beds, all to make space ready for their winter planting.

Tonight 15 goodgymers got together for a longer run in the sun. St. Timothy's Church in Ely, we gave it a lick of paint at the front, painted some tyres to become planters and gave it a general weeding and tidy up. Lovely day to be out and active.
