Thanks RCMP for letting us submit an entry for the “Name The Puppy” contest. My kinder kiddos from Parkview PS hope you pick our name for your new police pup! 🦮 #StaySafe

Students picked a card with a CVC word on it and were challenged to change the initial sound 3 times to create 3 new words! (We had a few laughs at our non sense words. 😜)

These flip sticks were awesome today! We started by reading new sight words in isolation on one side of the stick. On the other side we tackled sentences with familiar sight words while using gems to count and track each word. ✅

A trip to the library sparked a classwide interest in penguins! After a few days of reading, discussions and research, we discovered that Emperor penguins can grow as tall as 100 cm. This prompted us to compare our height to an emperor penguin’s height.🐧

Such a fun and open ended activity! We left this at the carpet from bell to bell for kiddos to bring items from around the room to. We are working hard to master initial sounds. 👂🏻
