🦀 It's rainin' crabs... blue swimming crabs (Portunus pelagicus) that is! Rob & Henry Legett have been working with local community officials in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, to restore populations. The project is being conducted in collaboration with Universitas Hasanuddin and IMET.

Congrats to Derek Hudgins for documenting MBP species #21,000! He found this planthopper, Chionomus pacificus, in Baltimore City. It was determined by Charles Bartlett, who noted that this species is highly mobile and wanders well outside of its core southwestern U.S. range.
