Beautiful day to wrap up Henry Legett temperature logger deployments! We are monitoring water temperature in 3 major #chesbay tributaries (Patapsco, Choptank, Rappahannock) this spring during the #riverherring spawning run. #fieldwork

Warm temps this week have put #riverherring season round 2 into full swing. Check out this clip of river herring, likely blueback herring, spawning at our downstream antenna. We tagged 100 fish this week and hope to track them as they move upstream and past old #BloedeDam.
