ESD 1 crews, along with other local fire departments are preparing at this time to send crews out to assist Crockett County.

Crews worked all day yesterday into the night stopping spots that jumped the road ways and fire lines. They stopped multiple fires yesterday that jumped over roads and it was reported no large structures were lost yesterday thanks to the crews. #HolcombeRoadFire

Fire that occurred in Panorama Village. Yesterday. Battalion 91 arrived on location and reported heavy fire from a 2 story residence. An additional engine was requested as engine companies worked in 95 degree heat. No injuries were reported.

A Tropical Storm warning has just been issued for Montgomery County. Dependent on the storms track, parts of the County may see little rainfall, increasing our risk of wildfires. A Burn Ban is in effect at this time for all unincorporated areas of Montgomery County.

A couple of our guys climbed bleachers today in remembrance of the NYFD firefighters that climbed 110 flights of stairs on 9/11/2001. They climbed the bleachers 44 times (up and dow was 1 time), 15 of which they were in full gear! Proud of you guys! #NeverForget911
