Hokies🦃 This week we begin by recognizing Hokies Lax, MC Byrne‼️ Mary Claire Byrne MC is a lifelong Hokie who was a 3 time captain for the team. She has now returned to Blacksburg as an assistant coach for the Hokies. Thank you for your continued service🔥

MC finished her time in Blacksburg ranked 3rd all time in caused turnovers and 6th in ground balls. In 2019, she was named a IWLCA Senior All-Star, having her best offensive season. Now she brings that defensive tenacity back to campus as an assistant coach🥍🦃

Wishing a 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮 to assistant coach, Mary Claire Byrne 🎉

Such a special kickoff to alumni wknd yest! 60+ alumni back to town for an epic Blacksburg wknd. 4th annual alumni game followed by a banquet honoring our 1999 A10 Championship team. So many smiles and laughs my mouth hurts this morning ❤️
