That is speak2ab (AB) presenting his work on Digital Practices at the Telfer Research Seminar Series, Telfer School of Management Université d'Ottawa | University of Ottawa! We not only learned new constructs about digital "x" but also new metaphors to understand those new constructs. lnkd.in/euckuk8C

Great thinking Susan Cohen! This is huge: "[He] brought a wealth of expertise to the subject matter," while "[she] brought a unique and dynamic perspective!" We need some serious work in making our algorithms smarter, that pick up the prevailing biases, and do better! But how?

My two cents on digital technologies and organizing: PS: It's my interview as a new faculty, though I joined Telfer School of Management last summer. Feels good to still qualify as "new" among the many amazing colleagues who started at Telfer this academic year! telfer.uottawa.ca/telfer-knowled…

Shoutout to all the amazing scholars examining AI and work! The idea of “nothing university” is definitely interesting, if nothing else: Paolo Quattrone Kasper Elmholdt Matt Beane @lucianadadderio Dr Angela Aristidou Andrew Sarta Tim Hannigan marleen huysman youtu.be/0lhmKOR8Www?si…

The PM Justin Trudeau just made a compelling case: By imposing tariffs on goods from Canada, the US administration is hurting the Americans. Then, hints at counter-tariffs on US goods. By logical analogy, wouldn't this move, of imposing counter-tariffs, hurt Canadians?
