I've never felt so angry. We have spent two months now sharing the brutality and inhumanity in Gaza, warning of atrocities, and pulling every lever of influence we have and the US vetoes & UK abstains. This is complicity. Anyone of conscience in those governments should resign.

This raised hand will be etched into the annals of history, inscribed on the page of disgrace. This compromises the integrity of the #UNSC, which should be an instrument for peace, operating within the framework of Int'l Law rather than working against it.

Some personal reflections on the night before returning home. Part of me will remain forever behind.

Our Secretary General, Christopher Lockyear, crossed into #Gaza earlier today and provided us with this update, saying, “any ground invasion into Rafah would be an absolute catastrophe. It doesn’t bear thinking about. It would be a disaster upon a disaster.”
