I’m in a critical situation. I live in Tijuana, Mexico. I’m bedbound, and my parents—exhausted and overwhelmed—want to send me to a psychiatric hospital. That would be extremely dangerous for me. I do have emotional crises, but my illness is severe, physical, and neurological:
