Odour for miles around, disgusting @PHE_uk and Lady Of Red risking health and welfare of residents of Newcastle under Lyme through inner city Walley Quarry. Vile example of a poor area of the country literally turned into dumping ground #WalleyQuarry #sulphur

And how valuable will this deal be to our economy. The last par of the Express tells us that Aus is our fifth biggest trading partner. So great. It was worth Β£18.8bn in 2019. Great. How much have we allowed for track and trace? Β£37bn. Oh.

I think a lot of the disconnect between the UK and Brussels stems from the EU demanding the UK Government treat the Northern Ireland Protocol with the seriousness it affords domestic rules like ministerial ethics or procurement, and the UK heartily agreeing.

It's getting personal. Starmer: "He failed to visit Afghanistan as PM, which means his last trip to the country, as Foreign Sec, was not to learn or to push UK interests but to avoid a vote on Heathrow. 100,000s of Britons have flown to serve, the PM flew to avoid public service."

Rhetoric that Sunak is somehow perfect & polished is so odd, I find him to be an incredibly weak performer, a dreadful speaker and, he's the one raising taxes. I think it shows how far we've fallen in standards, where he's described like a Tesla on #Marr because he owns a comb.

Serious. Tory MP William Wragg accuses govt whips and No 10 of blackmail and breaking ministerial code. Says they’ve threatened to withdraw investment from MPs’ constituencies if they support no confidence. Also threatened with negative press stories.

Your annual reminder that not going through with this cursed clocks charade could save households an estimated Β£400 a year on their energy bills, save the UK a projected 450,000 tonnes of CO2, and save parents of young children weeks of sleep deprived agony.
