Roy Clark, one of the most successful and respected scouts baseball has ever known, passed away at his Atlanta home last night. He was responsible for drafting and signing Wainwright, McCann, Francoeur, Morton, Heyward, Freeman, Kimbrel and many others. He was a great man.

I deleted my tweet about Zach Wheeler because it was posted in error. I wasn’t hacked, I just had something else in mind and was composing it, but put down my phone and must’ve posted it in error. For the record I feel horrible for Zack, and wish him a speedy recovery.

I get #Mets fans didn’t want Frankie Montas, but he wears the jersey of our team. He’s been awful, sure. But he was hurt, tried to come back and got hurt again. He’s likely done as a Met, but let’s have some compassion for our players.
