I spent today taking part in the 30th annual Hampshire Surrey Berkshire Borders Bird Count Tice’s Meadow Bird Group, recording 71 species. Repeatable surveys like this, across a large area & numerous volunteer recorders, are so important to build up a picture of our local bird populations.
