Dion Dublin is, I’m sure, a lovely bloke but he’s a truly awful co-commentator. It’s stream of consciousness bollocks on a constant theme of how clever he is.

Today is a big day. My brilliant former-BBC colleague Nick Ericsson and I are launching TopCast, our digital video, podcast and production training company. Between us, we have over 40 years of editorial & production experience and we want to share that! topcastmedia.co.uk

I would be willing to pay a small fee for Twitter on the condition that he hands it over to Dolly Parton and walks away and she deletes his account

Everyone you speak to who listens to VAR audio says the communicating is too matey, too chatty. Keith Hackett said the same on R5L today. They need to be talking in precise, procedural, legal language, as they largely do in cricket and rugby.

I don’t have a podcast to promote or the need to try use a platform like this to bully and belittle others I do have a sunday times bestseller that’s still available however, with all proceeds going straight to Refuge #staywinning 💁🏽‍♀️

Bit tired of "ooh bad journalists didn't cover the Post Office scandal". It's been covered for years: there have been two Panoramas, coverage of the court cases going back years, Radio 4 has done a series, Private Eye has been all over it, Computer Weekly has been on it for years

Absolute disgrace what is happening at Reading FC. A club being systematically asset stripped by an absentee owner with a history of running clubs into the ground. Fanbase & staff having to watch the thing they love slowly die. Frightening. Every football fan should take notice.

Worst Premier League refereeing performance I've ever seen from Lewis Smith at Fulham today. An embarrassment to PGMOL that they are handing top-flight appointments to a ref without a basic grasp of the laws.

On about the fifth name you can see that I look up and I choke as I go on to read the next name because what I saw when I looked up was the families of killed women standing up in the gallery as a mark of respect. It took everything I had to not just break down in tears.
