This is not yet confirmed, home office are denying but that is common with deaths in Detention for 1st few days, also common is intimidating room mates into silence & deporting witnesses so all eyes need to be on #Yarlswood right now! We hope it is not true but fear it is.

Update: home office are saying that there was no death in Yarlswood over weekend. Detainees are saying when they were protesting to guards they were told all the lock down’s were ‘a drill’. (Tbc)

It looks like some combination of a possible deportation over night, unusual lockdowns & the horrible stress & anxiety of being in Detention which created rumour. Some detainees still feel it is true. We will keep monitoring the situation, the home office have been known to lie!
