dtmf is such an important album for latinos and is so relevant to the current state of the world i just can’t think of a more deserving album and person to win that award man

DTMF is a love letter and a letter of pain at the same time. A love letter to Puerto Ricans everywhere, and a reminder of the modern Puerto Rican journey shaped by colonial violence. All while sprinkling some ass shaking. It’s a cultural statement.

I can’t say enough how insane it is that no one knows how to sit in discomfort anymore. No one problem solves, no one does things that are hard or scary because lord forbid they experience a moment of displeasure.
