We couldn’t spend another summer weekend without experiencing baseball up close and personal so we made a road trip up to Cooperstown to spend a few hours touring the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ It was well worth the trip ⚾️
Last year when I presented a #RiveraAvenue sign to our friends at The Dugout across from Yankee Stadium, Mariano Rivera superfan Nicole Saulter suggested we bring the sign up to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ . Although not yet a part of the permanent collection, we did just that.
The postponement of the 2020 National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ induction ceremonies in July denied us the opportunity to see Derek Jeter’s bronze plaque in the famed HOF Plaque Gallery. But that didn’t stop us from bringing our own challenge coin to commemorate the occasion New York Yankees #RE2PECT
It was good to see that our friend Charles Fazzino has two items on display in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ - even if one is about the Red Sox We missed spending time with Charles and his team (Julie, Carol and Jamie) at the All-Star Game
Why we made the three hour and forty five minute drive up to Cooperstown to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾: New York Yankees and Mariano Rivera #unaniMOus
Anyone who ever passionately collected baseball cards as a kid has a horror story to share #TheCardsYourMotherThrewAway National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾
The only way the Moe Berg would get into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ based on his career stats as a catcher would have been to buy a ticket. But his meritorious service w/ US intelligence during WW II earned him a Medal of Freedom & a special display in Cooperstown #TheCatcherWasASpy
Wait a second: I thought Roy Hobbs shattered his “Wonderboy” bat hitting a long foul ball in the bottom of the ninth in the one game playoff between the NY Knights and Pittsburgh Pirates? National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ #TheNatural
The panoramic and picturesque view of Lake Otesaga from the terrace of the historic Otesaga Resort Hotel of Cooperstown - where we were treated like HOFers. No wonder that’s where they stay during National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ induction weekend.
A Boston Police Dept. department spokesperson said the unidentified man appeared "emotionally disturbed" which of course pretty much describes most Red Sox fans. Only kidding. bostonglobe.com/2020/09/20/spo… via The Boston Globe
I hope COACH PRIME makes this kind of entrance at every Jackson State game.
Healthy and happy 93rd birthday 🎂 wishes to Tommy Lasorda Legacy. Last year we got to celebrate 92 with him in person thanks to @UnionChasersCEO in Citi Field where he told Ben not to slouch and he could shake his hand firmer because it wasn’t going to fall off. Love the guy!
