Part of the problem of Long Covid is that people think that deep suffering must look dramatic, and have a dramatic cause, whereas the deepest suffering of which I know looks like patients lying in bed, and is caused by nothing more than a stranger's breath

I do not like punk, I thought—but I just discovered The Misfits' Static Age, which is wall-to-wall BANGERS. Part of the appeal is the legit dumb nihilism, but these guys really loved those songs—Danzig could sing! And the back-story is punk as ****. What else should I try?
