When to eat a banana: while some people like their bananas green, others love a mushy brown banana. But is there really a difference between the two? Surprisingly yes [read more: buff.ly/318hDBL] [source: buff.ly/3nsb1Zz]

Wenn ich die Humos auslasere bleibt immer ein wenig Verschnitt übrig. Viel zu schön zum wegwerfen. Habt ihr ne Idee was man damit machen könnte? Brandings mit dem Lötkolben?

It’s a TV! This #Siemens #IC is a Picture-in-Picture chip and it combines two picture sources so that a small moving picture (inset) can be superimposed in a moving picture with normal size (parent). Not really vintage but did anyone ever used PiP really? 📺

`a = 0-x` is about 3-10x faster than `a = -x` 🤯 Let's jump into JavaScript VM details to see why and how to guard against this VM de-opt: 🧵🪡🧶

Need a Cyclone II EP2C35 FPGA? You can pay $220 to Digikey… or buy a preheater, a BGA reballing jig and $5 for an old Cisco modem. After watching YouTube videos for a whole weekend, it’s time to put theory to practice! Desoldering and cleaning is first.

New "combo resistor" pad to allow the option of surface mount or through hole resistors. Unconventional, but seems it would work - typically populate one or the other. KiCad PCB

You can now order a Pixel Pump and also injection moulded SMD Magazines from my store directly. 🚨 First things first, orders made here will ship after the CrowdSupply units have been shipped. Thanks for all the feedback and support! RTs appreciated 🤙

OpenStreetMap has an amazingly powerful query language, "Overpass". Sadly it was designed by a madman and is hard to learn. Luckily GPT-4 knows it well: "Give me an overpass query that finds all buildings that straddle the boundary between Glendale and Burbank in California."

holy FUCK. Windows Snipping Tool is vulnerable to Acropalypse too. An entirely unrelated codebase. The same exploit script works with minor changes (the pixel format is RGBA not RGB) Tested myself on Windows 11

Probably the best thing you'll see today. In 2017, a group of developers hilariously competed for who could create worst volume control interface in the world. The results 🧵 1/22

Inspired by cnlohr USB bitbanging livestreams youtube.com/@CNLohr/streams I got curious of how hard it would be to decode the USB packet stream with 7400-series ICs. Looks like init/setup and bidirectional 8-byte control messages is quite feasible in about 50-60 ICs.

Teardown of the Disneyland entry band, friendly donation by you know who you are❤️ FCC: Q3E-MB-R1G2 First stage disassembly is quite easy via 2 screws but comes to a sonic welded inner part From the outside you can talk to it via NFC 🧐a battery as well? Lets look deeper! 1/N

Wish I could show you the PCB I'm working on at the moment... but then I realised I never shared my Christmas PCBs! Forgot to select ENIG, but decided I liked the silvery colour better because it matches the doorbell 😄 ...and forgot the rounded corners 🤦‍♀️ but pleased overall!

It has been some years since I received some images from NOAA and Meteor weather satellites. pandora got the grill going while I tried my new 137MHz Yagi modeled in 4nec2. NOAA 15, 19 and Meteor-M N2-3 yesterday evening.
