It was time to start getting the allotment sorted out, we I have made a start. Found a few more potatoes 🥔 from last year. The little Robin benefited from my endeavours, bagging a couple of juicy worms for its afternoon snack.

Another bit of the allotment sorted out. And another load of Potatoes 🥔 found. Getting there slowly but surely. Will soon be in a position to start planting.

Midweek relaxing evening. A book, some wine accompanied by a bit of smooth jazz. Nice way to pass the evening.

A quiet start to Sunday morning. A couple of hours just sat drinking coffee ☕️ and reading 📚 Maybe I should start every day this way.

Something a bit different for me this morning. Volunteered at the Coldhams Common Park Run. And enjoyable morning as a Tail Walker. A very welcoming and friendly group. parkrun UK Coldham's Common (Cambridge) parkrun

A lovely sunny Sunday pottering around in the allotment. More of it cleared, still away to go yet. Still managed to start the planting. Time to tidy everything away and then some light refreshments. The RHS Allotments UK

Nice to just be able to relax by the pond with just the birds for company after work.

Fun in the sun today. Weeding the allotment and planting the peas plus more carrots and onions. Radishes have now come through. I now have 3 Robins who seem to be enjoying the fruits of my labours.

We have both done the duty voting thing. And decided to not walk past the pub without enjoying some liquid refreshments.

Afternoon in the allotment. Weeding again, it is never ending. On the plus side, the tomatoes now uncovered with stacked support. Radishes & blueberry plant doing well. The peas shoots have now started to break through. So now covered

So quiet and peaceful sat on the balcony this afternoon. Just the birds for company.

A lovely sunny Saturday morning for volunteering @coldhamscommonparkrun Marshalling duties today. Great view from my position.

A couple of hours spent in the allotment this morning. The bee was my constant companion. Tomatoes are now flowering, radishes are nearly ready. Onions, carrots, and sweetcorn now are now showing. Peas are also coming along nicely under the covers. Now, I am sat on the balcony.

The first tomatoe has made and appearance. Pulled the first radishes and have now uncovered the peas. Need to put the frame up and netting to support the peas, that will be a weekend job.

Marshalling at parkrun UK at Coldhams Common. And today it is celebrating Pride. It has also stopped raining 🌧 which is a bonus.

A trip into the city for the Town & Country show. Picked up some Gin and Moonshine. Just enjoying some light refreshments in the sunshine.

We have different types of tomatoes 🍅 growing and now they are both starting show. The sweetcorn is coming along, just very slowly. And the carrots 🥕 are starting to grow more. It is just a shame that the weeds grow quicker than everything else.
