this is incredible, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has gone full YIMBY as the evidence keeps piling up that legalizing denser housing is good for affordability, sustainability, and equity, I expect more and more progressive politicians to fully embrace pro-housing policies

Super excited to see this in my inbox from @snaidunl and coauthors. It's a super cool empirical contribution and a nice reminder of the ways conservative political actors arm themselves with the language of economics to shift the policy landscape through the judicial system.

Hey DDOT DC, when are you putting back the plastic bollards on Lamont and 13th NW, people are blowing through there and I almost got side swiped crossing by someone cutting the corner.

I don’t want to ban cars entirely from urban spaces, I just want to live in a city where cars feel like they need to wave to _pedestrians_ for allowing them to cross the street.
