A team from THET and Commonwealth Pharmacists Association visited some of the CHWs in the community as part of their follow up visits. The #CHWs shared their experiences following the training received on antimicrobial stewardship and one health promotion in Kyengera TC, Wakiso district. #CwPAMS
We have concluded day one of the two-day Proposal Writing Workshop for our Masters students, thanks to the initiative by the Dean, Rhoda Wanyenze. The purpose is to fast-track Graduate Students’ progress towards completion and submission of Research Proposals.
Earlier today, our Vice Chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe received and had great discussions on achievements of NTU-MAK Partnership partnership with the Nottingham Trent University delegation led by Prof Neil Mansfield NTU, Executive Dean, Research and International Reputation Makerere University.
In 2020, Makerere University became the 4th strategic International Partner of Nottingham Trent University, and their only African University partner in research, teaching and learning. The partnership has so far seen publication of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and co-authorship of two book chapters.
The team received a warm welcome from the Vice-Chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe and the new Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor for University Advancement & International Relations, Awel. They were joined by Dean MakSPH, Rhoda Wanyenze, David Musoke Grace B. Lubega NTU-MAK Partnership

Today, Barnabas Nawangwe the VC Makerere University held a fruitful meeting with a delegation from Nottingham Trent University led by Prof Neil Mansfield NTU, the Executive Dean, Research & International Reputation aimed at strengthening our long-standing relationship as key strategic institutional partners.
This morning I received a delegation from Nottingham Trent University, our dear partner of 14 years. We agreed to expand our collaboration beyond public heath and they visited the site for the new building of the School of Public Health.
