A team from THET and Commonwealth Pharmacists Association visited some of the CHWs in the community as part of their follow up visits. The #CHWs shared their experiences following the training received on antimicrobial stewardship and one health promotion in Kyengera TC, Wakiso district. #CwPAMS

A two-day #AHETCA2024 event, organized in collaboration with People's Health Movement Uganda themed; 'Advancing Health Equity Thru Collaborative Action (AHETCA) Conference,' is a vital platform for stakeholders dedicated to promoting health equity to come together, collaborate, and share knowledge.
This week, we reached out to over 75 #CHWs on Zzinga and Bussi Islands on L Victoria with training sessions on #Antimicrobialstewardship .
CHWs appreciated the roles they can play in their communities to fight against #AMR .

Since 2010, the NTU-MAK Partnership partnership have made tremendous achievements thanks to Dr. Linda Gibson a Professor in Global Public Health, Nottingham Trent University and Dr. David Musoke, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health Makerere School of Public Health

Earlier today, our Vice Chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe received and had great discussions on achievements of NTU-MAK Partnership partnership with the Nottingham Trent University delegation led by Prof Neil Mansfield NTU, Executive Dean, Research and International Reputation Makerere University.
In 2020, Makerere University became the 4th strategic International Partner of Nottingham Trent University, and their only African University partner in research, teaching and learning. The partnership has so far seen publication of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and co-authorship of two book chapters.
