Due to flooding conditions, reports of trees down and power outages at various schools – and understanding that there already is a three-hour release scheduled for students on Friday, Oct. 12 – Chesterfield County Public Schools will be closed for students on Friday, Oct. 12.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of E. River Rd. for the report of shots fired on 10/23/18 at 5:55 p.m. This was an isolated issue between known subjects. There are no injuries at this time.
