Goro Akechi is haunted by vivid nightmares in which he kills a mysterious boy. Though the places and time periods are ever changing, the boy always stays the same. So to does Goro's mission: kill that vile demon pretending to be a human and save the world from destruction.

Goro has a faded scar beneath his bangs. When Ren discovers it for the first time, Goro makes up some bullshit about him getting it from a shadow that got a little too close. In reality, he got it as a child when he tried to break a ramune bottle open for the marble.

Goro realizing that half of Akira's friends are In Love with his boyfriend despite Akira seemingly being absolutely oblivious and having a mini crashout about his fears Akira would choose someone better followed by a gloating session that he won anyway

After watching Goro struggle and fail to pull his favorite character in a new game he's into, Ren decides to start playing it... only to have such insanely good luck (including getting Goro's fav) that Goro starts queuing up another "why do you get things I don't?" speech.
