🇲🇲 UPDATE: U.S. Embassy Burma released a statement re: the military regime’s attacks on Mindat on Saturday. “The military’s use of weapons of war against civilians...is a further demonstration of the depths to which the regime will sink in order to hold onto power."

A new blow has been struck against the Myanmar junta. The US has sanctioned the SAC itself, not just individuals. AND, those who continue to do business with them can now also face sanctions. I now urge that the next step be taken: turn off the junta's oil & gas revenue spigot.
