pre-established lore is pre-established lore, i'm giving exposition, you can choose to go against it and open new doorways our character hang-ups, their flaws, that's what makes a compelling story look, they have a history, an angst, pound her butt, you need to do SOMETHING

i guess i thought you liked angst, and putting noisy hags in their place but i guess i'm wrong, out of touch story makes the smut you want to write 10x better i don't make the rules besides i've been waiting three years for a satisfying climax to the tension

you need to know where you're at, what the characters are doing, their "lore" from where it was to where it's going, and then writing it out can establish new story beats, and new ideas smut is better in story format, and worth writing if it's sensible
