just a friendly reminder that republicans have a trifecta and could pass a federal ban on gerrymandering *tomorrow* if they wanted to. but they don’t want to. they want to rig the system. and then they turn around and throw a temper tantrum when Dems fight back

Democrats defeated Donald Trump’s gerrymandering scheme in Virginia tonight. We will crush the DeSantis Dummymander in Florida next. Maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time.

A bunch of fucking people on the right are crying tonight about the results in Virginia. Y’all should take a moment and call your buddies who are the governor of Texas and Donald Trump. You’re a bunch of fucking losers. The voters have spoken. Unlike TX. Fuck around and find out.

Very few Republicans want to do this. Congressman Mike Lawler intro’d a bill to ban mid-decade redistricting and rein in partisan gerrymandering. It has a grand total of one (1) cosponsor: Malliotakis. Speaker Johnson won’t touch it and it’s been collecting dust in committees sans action.

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Democrats finishing the redistricting fight that they started: they’ve got full control of government— they can pass a law banning partisan gerrymandering any time they want to. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad that gerrymandering

This is a lie. Measles has a well established mortality and morbidity rate among unvaccinated children. Once measles enters the bloodstream and causes viremia there’s not much to be done other than supportive measures. It’s the antivaccine activists killing America’s children

I've given Obama quite a bit of flack for not being very involved in actual politics post-presidency, but he deserves some plaudits here. He personally did quite a bit of ad work and fundraising.

Where was this energy when Tennessee Republicans stole Nashville’s seat, coach? Or when Republicans did it in Texas? Between this and the weird West Bank “Judea and Samaria” you came here to push you continue to show your true colors - and they ain’t pretty

Agreed, you guys are gonna be fine. Wouldn't worry about it. Get Bessent on the trail to talk up the economy, Hegseth can do morning briefings on Iran, and then Trump brings it home with weekly pressers on the ballroom.

Dubowitz says “Nobody serious expected regime change during military operations.” Trump did! In fact, he claims it has already happened! Guys like Mark treat everyone like they’re stupid and don’t have eyes and ears. Cut the bullshit and just own the disaster you pushed for.

North Carolina had a 7-7 map. Their GOP moved it to 11-3. Guess who said NOTHING? Whiny ass Bruce Pearl. He didn’t say a damn thing. As Della Reese said in Harlem Nights, “Kiss my ENTIRE ass!”

Discarding the opinions of people who have worked for and won in competitive districts does not strike me as a winning strategy.

When a man dies after a long career in public service, the first thing I want to know is how many campaign contributions did he receive from people who also supported pro-Israel groups.
