I believe we should default to supporting development in nearly all cases unless there is a very compelling reason not to. (Note… traffic and parking is NOT a compelling reason.)

Townhomes, new arenas, etc. Build it all. Limit red tape. Our City needs more private investment.

Why is in-person work good for society?
-Vibrancy/safety to downtowns
-Ability to onboard / train young employees
-Increases focus at work
-Creates cross-functional exposure
-Makes colleague relationships healthier
-Decreases commoditization of work

What else?

B2B branding... it's best to avoid trying to manage multiple brands. Even massive companies like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and Salesforce struggle to manage many product brand names successfully. If your company is called 'Coke' make your products 'Cherry Coke' and 'Diet Coke.'

It is great to have a local reporter who knows how to tackle a meaningful story for our community.

This is a critical moment for St. Paul. We need to fully commit to our downtown as a community. That's the only path to a vibrant future as a City.

Let's all start there.

Listen to Nate. Our labor rules should apply equally across industries. A nurse is not more worthy of special wages than a teacher, mechanic or construction worker.

If you’re worried about your job, transition as quickly as possible to going into the office 3-5 days per week.

In most environments, it WILL hurt your career to be 100% remote.

As a leader, it's good to get in the habit of making time for what's important vs limiting what's important to fit your time. If something is important, it just is. You can't change that. One way to 'make time' for something is to hire well and delegate effectively.

The breadth of public stock investment options has been declining for years as a result of regulatory and other similar burdens. No surprise that private capital markets have continued to grow. I don't see that trend changing but the challenge for the average investor is forced…

Three things that are often a waste of time or money:
-Checking references provided by the company or person you are trying to learn about
-Detailed 5-year financial models in startups that have less than $3M in revenue
-Tradeshows
