This year, the Month of Ramadan begins on the evening of March 22 and ends on the evening of April 20. It's the holiest month in the Islamic year and begins at the sighting of the new moon. Wishing peace, health, and prosperity as many begin this month of fasting.

Since 1993, Indigenous peoples in Canada have used March 31 to celebrate the strength and endurance of their languages and cultures. While Indigenous Languages Day is a single day, there are thousands of Indigenous language programs and traditional teachings every day.

March 31 is International Transgender Day of Visibility - a day dedicated to celebrating transgender people, their contributions to society and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.
