Happy #WorldDownSyndromeDay! March 21st was declared World Down Syndrome Day by the UN General Assembly in 2011. 21/3 signifies the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome, and chromosomes look like funky pairs of socks - so our socks represent the chromosomes! #WithUsNotForUs

This year, the Month of Ramadan begins on the evening of March 22 and ends on the evening of April 20. It's the holiest month in the Islamic year and begins at the sighting of the new moon. Wishing peace, health, and prosperity as many begin this month of fasting.

Since 1993, Indigenous peoples in Canada have used March 31 to celebrate the strength and endurance of their languages and cultures. While Indigenous Languages Day is a single day, there are thousands of Indigenous language programs and traditional teachings every day.
