A tiny paper broke the George Santos scandal, but no one paid attention. My latest with Ashley Fetters Maloy washingtonpost.com/media/2022/12/…
Classic Hank Stuever to describe her as one of the last great listeners washingtonpost.com/entertainment/…
I met Molly when we were on strike from the Detroit newspapers in 1995. She was a restaurant critic working as a waitress at Maria’s in Ferndale. When Bob Ourlian and I got engaged, she comp’d our dinner and was so happy for us. Just a lovely woman.
Many congratulations to these superb The Washington Post journalists and other @pulitzerprizes winners and finalists whose work showed why deeply reported and nuanced journalism is so essential. whohttps://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2023/05/08/washington-post-pulitzer-prize-2023/
Amazing send off for David Malitz, a fantastic editor and even better human heading to The New York Times. Absolutely magical to work with him everyday, I will miss him very much.

This afternoon, we began correcting the original sin of The Washington Post's digital existence: no Style section. No way for readers to experience the mix of culture, politics, arts, media and weirdness that has defined Style in print for 50+ years. 1/3 washingtonpost.com/style/
Some news orgs already have the best #TaylorSwift correspondent. Reporting from East Rutherford and last night's game, Style's Emily Yahr throws the long pass (is that right? I don't speak fluent sportsball) on the meaning of TnT. wapo.st/3LKR1jM
.The Washington Post today named Scott Vance Managing Editor, overseeing the International, Business, and Sports departments. A 28-year veteran of The Post, he has spent the last decade as a Deputy Managing Editor working across the newsroom. washingtonpost.com/pr/2023/10/02/…
Decades of new writers, editors and ideas for change, but still very much itself. Happy 55th birthday to The Washington Post's Style section, which debuted on 1/6/69 and, remarkably, is still going at it. washingtonpost.com/style/
Thank you, Society for Features Journalism (@SFJ) for the great news today about all the The Washington Post wins in this year's Excellence in Feature Writing contest. Definitely brightened our day with wins for Style, Arts, Food, Sports and more! featuresjournalism.org/blog/2024/6/19…
