After a brilliant day with VOICES @ExpertCitizens yesterday we are now heading Liverpool. Waves of Hope are the first of the 12 Fulfilling Lives programmes to be coming to an end and today is their closing celebratation event

We (some of us) may have different accents Fulfilling Lives Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham, unfortunate similarities shared across the Nth & Sth are the no’s of people bedded down in the cold. David from Whitechapel - 60% of people successfully left Waves of Hope (based on the person's own criteria) with 79% reduced their rough sleeping and 63% reduction in drug & alcohol use. Systemically, it's seen developments in accommodation, workforce, PIE & partnerships.

Genuinely heartbreaking that the Waves of Hope and amazing ThevoiceofNorris lived experience group gave so many 'firsts' including an adult having their very first birthday cake. I'll just leave that there.

Really interesting reflection from Tom ThevoiceofNorris Waves of Hope that whilst we really want lived experience in every single room/meeting... If that's with warring professionals, blaming each other for failure rather than working together, it can be a trigger.
