Really interesting reflection from Tom ThevoiceofNorris Waves of Hope that whilst we really want lived experience in every single room/meeting... If that's with warring professionals, blaming each other for failure rather than working together, it can be a trigger.

Genuinely heartbreaking that the Waves of Hope and amazing ThevoiceofNorris lived experience group gave so many 'firsts' including an adult having their very first birthday cake. I'll just leave that there.

Lived experience team up now from Waves of Hope... Lessons - have humanity, clear you own agenda, ask for help, create choice, be prepared to be unpopular, use plain english, listen, involve, be prepared for frustration. Really fabulous and honest reflections for us to learn.

David from Whitechapel - 60% of people successfully left Waves of Hope (based on the person's own criteria) with 79% reduced their rough sleeping and 63% reduction in drug & alcohol use. Systemically, it's seen developments in accommodation, workforce, PIE & partnerships.

After a brilliant day with VOICES Expert Citizens CIC yesterday we are now heading Liverpool. Waves of Hope are the first of the 12 Fulfilling Lives programmes to be coming to an end and today is their closing celebratation event

Fortune smiling on me this morning. Train is six minutes late and I was only two! On way to Waves of Hope to help celebrate their awesome work. Phew, that was some congested commute to Crewe Station!

Very sad that the first The National Lottery Community Fund Fulfilling Lives project is coming to an end next month, but really looking forward to speaking at their celebration event today in Liverpool, and hearing people's reflections Waves of Hope
