EDS affects the body’s connective tissue. Connective tissue lies between other tissues and organs, keeping these separate whilst connecting them, holding everything in place and providing support, like the mortar between bricks.

As if I start using Twitter on this exact day... spooky👀 Can’t believe I’ve had my blog for this long. Definitely time to get back into it and kick it off again.💪🏼 #MyTwitterAnniversary

Stuck in bed today, due to a big flare-up. Although physically exhausted, I’m mentally okay for a change! Decided I was, therefore, going to spend my time wisely and get some writing done - until I realised I’ve left my laptop downstairs😭 Whyyyyyy

Abbie🐝 (@livingwithjhs) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Trying to steel myself for making the move downstairs to the sofa (and hopefully some food on the way if I can manage it)... But the thought of carrying my duvet, water, pills and charger, as well as myself, is not making it look good😣

It’s a good job Twitter is so easy to backtrack those who have followed me since I’ve been inactive. I’ll have a catchup session later today when I’ve had a chance to recover from these tablets that the hospital gave me last night... sending me a bit woozy🙄

I’m so aware of how little I’ve blogged or posted on socials in the last year. It’s been one heck of a hectic one for me. I’m starting to get back into a routine. Butttt... I’m thinking of transferring the content to Abbie✨. Would you be okay with this?

People talking and posting about their #GCSEresults yesterday meant I’m sat there having to google the grade system to work out whether they did well or not. Numbers system? What’s this?!🤷🏼‍♀️ Does this make me old? It feels it.🤣

So yesterday I finally posted my first YouTube video after I don’t know how many years. In it, I announced the reason why I’m merging Living with JHS to Simply AJ, and other bits and pieces including what to expect from my channel🙌🏼☺️ m.youtube.com/watch?v=e3DuTa…

I introduced simplyaj.co.uk to it’s new health side, after making the decision to move content from livingwithjhs.com across to Simply AJ. I didn’t ever really talk about my story and my diagnosis on Living with JHS. So head across and check it out🙌🏼

Exercising with a chronic illness involves a lot of caution BUT it's done wonders for my condition. It's much more manageable than it was before I started my fitness journey in January 2019. Here's my top 10 tips for exercising with a chronic condition: simplyaj.co.uk/?p=1313
