Hi Sainsbury's Thanks for working so hard to improve retail related recycling in recent years. Could I ask you to apply some pressure to NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto to do the decent thing and make recycling bags available for free rather than contingent upon a purchase from their online store?

It’s absurd that a leading FMCG brand like Nescafé – which claims to be “committed to change (and) reducing landfill waste to zero (and) moving to … 100% recyclable or reusable packaging” – will only supply recycling bags for free if you make a purchase from their online store.

Please can you consider working together with others in your sector to encourage Nescafe to change its outdated and opportunistic position on this most important of matters. Many thanks. Sainsbury's Co-op Tesco Waitrose & Partners Morrisons M&S @LidlGB Aldi Stores UK

Officials didn't stop us from going to work; Ministers took the decision and MPs endorsed it. Tweets like this that put all the blame on civil servants will only make the government's problems worse, encouraging more leaks and undermining any sense the government is contrite

.James Cleverly🇬🇧 just attempted to defend Johnson’s disgraceful smear of Starmer re Savile on R4. While I’m sure daily media round is a short straw activity at the moment, he could have side-stepped the question but chose not to. I expected better from him. Very disappointing.

The BBC are setting up shortwave radio frequencies for the people of Ukraine to keep informed with the news as their TV towers are bombed and internet services attacked. You don’t get that with a Netflix subscription.
