Received 1000 citations to my research finally, along with an h-index close to 20. Happy to have achieved these with just 34 peer-reviewed publications, of which I am the lead/corresponding author for 18 of them. Hopefully many more milestones to be unlocked in the near future!

Looking for textbook recommendations for general nutrition/public health nutrition (besides Nutritional Epidemiology by Walter Willett which I am already using), any ideas? Interesting non-academic book suggestions are also welcome. Thanks! Academic Chatter™ #nutrition

Interesting cross-country and urban-rural differences in gut microbiota: 1) Japanese children's seem to be different from other Asian countries. SCFA lower among Bangkok children cf. Thai rural area. #ICN2022 #diet #microbiota #nutrition

`Japanese' diet not necessarily healthy e.g. relatively high glycemic index mainly contributed by white rice intake and higher sodium intake cf. US. Interesting data from 栄養を科学するブログ #ICN2022 #diet #nutrition
