We are saddened to learn of the passing of 101-year-old WWll Firefighter Olive Whitcombe. Olive joined the National Fire Service in 1941 & kept watch from the roof of Westminster Abbey during the Blitz & was a Control Officer after the war. Thoughts are with her family & friends

Just recognised Martin Nokes for an incredible 40 years service with West Midlands Fire Service lots of it at our city centre station @ladywoodfire The highest standards, accomplished skills and excellent with people. Thank you personally and professionally. Best Wishes for your retirement.
