The recovery continues - 40 minutes very steady on the trails with nothing more than nettle stings to contend with afterwards 🏃‍♂️

Backed up yesterday's 40 minute trail run with another of 39 mins today. Same route so pretty pleased in a limited way. I wasn't trying to be quicker, and in the bigger scheme of life's events it's pretty unimportant, but once a runner always a runner, and it's made me happy 😃🏃‍♂️

Unexpected day off work due to a shattered windscreen in my car from a flying stone - I think. Having it replaced at 12:30 so got out for an equally unexpected run. 45 mins on the trails. Pedestrian pace but that's not what it's about at the moment. Just delighted to be running😀

45 mins trail run this morning. Little increments to both pace and distance with no adverse reaction. So glad to be running again- Joni Mitchell was so right Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone But thankfully I do, and thank God it hasn't

Amother 45 minutes on the trails today. Running with all of the grace and elegance of the Hunchback of Notre Dame on ice skates, but it's still a run in the sun and I'm happy. Well, now that it's over I am 😂
